There has been no news since last summer from Undefined, the developer of Defender, Protector and Protector: Reclaiming the Throne.

Their lastest update announced that Protector is no longer in development. Fans of the series will have to cope without Protector Plus, which was supposed to be an expansion to the series.

Undefined does state on their website that they are busy with a mysterious project codenamed Engage. ‘Engage is an ambitious project, a grand space opera played out in multiple chapters. Chapter 1 is currently in development and will set the stage for an epic non-linear story spanning multiple chapters.’ It sounds very interesting to us and if it can deliver the same impact as Defender did when it first came out this is definately a game to look forward to. We hope Undefined breaks the silence as soon as possible. Fingers crossed!
