Armor Games have released their newest game called Crush the Castle. During development the game was named trebuchet and is a remake of the game Castle Clout. You can read our earlier preview of the game published a few weeks back.

There are some differences to the original plan. Upgrades cannot be bought and instead they are unlocked as the player advances through the levels. The gameplay is very simple but addictive and the levels are fun and challenging. The trebuchet is controlled by two mouse clicks and the level is cleared once you destroy all the inhabitants of the castle. Upon finishing all the levels you unlock the level editor and this adds another few hours to the game’s lifespan.

Hopefully now that this game is done developer Con Artist can focus on The Last Stand 3 and the sequal to Warfare 1917. There has been no news on these two games for a while and we hope to hear about them somewhere the coming weeks.
