Bubble Tanks Tower Defense
Better late than never we cover one of the most popular tower defense games over the last couple of months. We’ve been offline during the original release back in December last year, but this is definitely one of those epic titles that deserves all the attention.
Bubble Tanks Tower Defense takes the popular series into a new genre and beyond! The game features seven enemy types, over eleven unique tower paths, tower merging allowing for mega-towers and mega-mega towers which can combine a total of sixteen towers! Additionally, players can prepare for 52 whopping game modes with which Hero Interactive ensures players will have plenty to keep themselves busy until the release of Bubble Tanks Arenas.
With almost 2.5 million gameplays on Armor Games alone and a rating of 9.1 it is still one of the hottest games around. Be sure to have tried it and be ready to get addicted to some extent!

My Pet Protector updated
Last summer developer Undefined broke the silence by releasing My Pet Protector, a role-playing game where players must try to raise a hero. Since its release it has been quiet again and not much is known about the status of their current projects.
Undefined is known for their famous Protector series which boosted the popularity of tower defense games and gave them a new dimension by introducing specialization upgrades. It is currently unknown whether they’re working on a new installment of Protector.
However, this week all of a sudden an updated version of My Pet Protector has been released named Generation II. The game features some gameplay improvements and bug fixes which make the game alot more enjoyable for fans of the genre. It’s hardly comparable to other games except a distant similarity to the old sim girl series. The game is split up into days and each day you can use your hours to train skills, work or go hunting. Choose your character’s path wisely as you progress through increasingly difficult dungeons and encounter powerful monsters. Play and see for yourself!

Civilizations Wars
Sometimes using an existing formula is the key to success. Developer Cave of Wonders did just that and their new game Civilizations Wars is top-ranked on various gamesites. In fact, they’ve combined real-time strategy with role-playing elements resulting in an interesting and involving game. The artwork lifts the whole to another level making it a welcome addition to the list of quality flash games.
Civilizations Wars is a fast paced real-time strategy/role-playing game with deep tactic capabilities and amazing graphics in an unique style. Choose one of three races and lead your people towards the legendary fallen star to find the secret force, whatever that may mean. There are three races with each 33 levels to complete, giving the player plenty to do before running out of content.
The aim is to capture all the buildings on any given map. In order to achieve this your buildings produce units to do the fighting and you’ve got a whole range of magical skills to aid you in battle. Furthermore, as you complete maps you’ll level up giving you the opportunity to raise skills which improve your combat capabilities. Adding everything up leaves us with an action packed game which will surely appeal to many. Make sure to find out for yourself!

Return of the Bloons
Inevitably we missed some releases as we’ve been offline for a while. One of them is Bloons Tower Defense 4 by developer Ninja Kiwi, which has been in development for a whooping 419 days. Since its release, the game has been enjoyed by millions of players and received exremely high ratings.
Ninja Kiwi has not only stretched out the whole scope of the game with more bloons, towers and maps, but in doing so they’ve been able to stretch out the difficulty of the game. The easiest mode is far easier than it was the case in Bloons Tower Defense 3. The hardest levels are truly insanely difficult this time. With this they hope to bring you all a much longer playing experience and something that people will enjoy playing for at least the coming twelve months.
There’s no word yet on a fifth game and don’t expect to see it arrive this year. For all of us who haven’t played this one yet, you’re missing out!

Battalion: Vengeance released
Urbansquall has released the third and final chapter of their Battalion series. Battalion: Vengeance is released fairly shortly after Ghosts considering the wait between the first and second game. Players will feel familiar with the game mechanics and the story continues where it had left off in the previous installment of the series.
Battalion: Vengeance begins as the Dragoons have come home to lead the final strikes on the Akadian Empire. In this turn-based strategy game, you’ll have the chance to take command of the noble Dragoons as they fight to regain their homeland. Control the Jammer Truck, Lancer Tank and Vulture Drone in your quest to defeat Durand and his Akadian cronies once and for all.
New players are recommended to try the Bootcamp first to master the game before unleashing havoc in the single player campaing.

More StormWinds underway
The developers at Hero Interactive must have their hands full with several anticipated titles in development. Earlier today we posted the new Q&A they released about Bubble Tanks Arenas. It almost seems to overshadow their other projects, but behind the scenes a new StormWinds game is being forged: StormWinds: The Mary Reed Chronicles.
It will be a hunt and click adventure game comparable to the highly rated The Several Journeys of Reemus by developer Zeebarf. You’ll follow the heroine Mary Reed and her steampunk robot sidekick Rusty as they begin their sky piracy career by hijacking a massive Demo airship and rescuing Aglorian captives. Taking place four years after the events of StormWinds: The Lost Campaigns, the game will continue the story and should include a number of familiar elements for fans of the series.
StormWinds: The Mary Reed Chronicles is set to be released soon after Bubble Tanks Arenas somewhere this year.
Fancy Pants World 3
Time for an update on Fancy Pants World 3. Borne Games has been releasing information sporadically over the last few months and from what they’ve shown it’s obvious that it will be better looking than ever before. Players familiar with the previous Fancy Pants Adventures might not see the difference at first but there are plenty of new features to be mentioned.
The previous Fancy Pants Adventure has been played millions of times all over the world and has aquired somewhat of a cult status. Fans of the series have been eagerly waiting for bits of information about World 3 and hopefully we’ll be receiving more updates over the coming months.
The screenshot shows Rural Squiglleville and according to Borne Games, they’re still experimenting with the graphical style of World 3. One of their main aims is to maintain the game’s handdrwan looks while refining the style and art. Backgrounds will no longer be single layers, instead there will be five independently scrolling backgrounds giving the player an impression of debt. There is no word yet on a release date and it appears that the game is still in its early stages of development. Scroll down for a gamplay footage showing one of the new features: Swimming.
