Questionaut in the Spotlight
During the Flash Gaming Summit 2009 last March, there were over 7000 games nominated in several categories for the Mochi Awards. All of the winning games are special in their own way, but some haven’t received the deserved attention. This especially applies to Questionaut by Amanita Design. The game won the award for Best Game Art and for a good reason.
Journey through strange worlds and test your knowledge of English, Maths and Science on this magical mission to recover your friend’s hat. In essence it’s a point and click adventure with a quiz in every stage. The art and animation are phenomenal and every level surprises with its unique characters, feel and look. The target audience might be children and the questions have an educational purpose, but it would be a shame to overlook all the other aspects Questionaut has to offer.
It was released last year and since the Mochi Awards it has been discovered by the more mainstream audience. Much can be said about this game but it’s easier to see for yourself!
